ACCURATE WEIGHING AT HIGH SPEED FOR
OPTIMUM SELECTION
With processing capacities continually on the increase, the need for
accurate weighing in a split second is crucial. Weight is an important
basis for quality grading and high weighing accuracy leads to a lower
giveaway.
Weight information can be combined with automatic vision based
quality assessment (see IRIS). Every whole product is
‘tagged’ with this quality information and can be followed downstream,
to determine its optimum allocation according to specification, like the
selection of A-quality calibrated whole products, or a cut-up or deboning system.
